Whenever the Los Angeles Lakers square off with the Boston Celtics, it is always going to be a good game, and Saturday night’s tilt at the Garden between the two old rivals was no exception, the game going to overtime and even then down to the wire with Jaylen Brown (37 points, 9 rebounds) carrying Boston late in the game to win 125-121.
In a surprisingly close contest throughout, big games from Jayson Tatum (30 points, 11 boards), and Malcolm Brogdon (26 points, 6 rebounds) off of the bench, with Derrick White (14 points, 5 assists) provided key play for the Celtics as well.
