The Boston Celtics defeated the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 122-119 Wednesday night at TD Garden, avenging an ugly loss from back in January. With the result, Boston expands its lead over Milwaukee in the Eastern Conference standings to 11 games.
The Celtics were led by All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum, who ended the game with 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. But Payton Pritchard was the engine for the home team, providing Boston with 19 points to go with a few dazzling hustle plays. In total, five guys in green logged 17 or more points, and the Celtics simply overpowered the Bucks with high-octane shooting. With former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo out of the lineup, Milwaukee just couldn’t keep pace, although they came close thanks to a strong fourth quarter showing.
Let’s take a look at some of the best moments captured in images in the Celtics’ 68th game of the 2023-24 NBA season vs. the Bucks.
