The Boston Celtics came to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse to face the Cleveland Cavaliers for their Game 3 matchup of their 2024 Eastern Conference semifinals series Saturday (May 11) night with designs on revenge vs. the Cavs.
And they got it despite Cleveland’s best efforts, winning 106-93 to take a 2-1 series lead. Boston held Cleveland to just 33.3% from beyond the arc and just 42.9% overall to their 51.2%, and won the battle of the boards by 9 and the march of dimes by 5 assists. Taken together with four less turnovers, the Celtics put themselves back in control of the series with the win.
