The Boston Celtics stepped into Crypto Dot Com Arena knowing if they did not return to the East Coast without at least one win in that building vs. the Los Angeles Clippers or Lakers that their West Coast swing would be seen as a disappointment.
And they started their tilt vs. the Clips like they knew it, defending hard and scorching L.A. from beyond the arc to go up as much as 21 points in the game’s first half. Boston didn’t let up in the second half, pushing the lead as high as 39 points to obliterate their first opponent in the Los Angeles double-header 145-108 and retake the NBA’s best record at 22-6.
