The Boston Celtics defeated the Detroit Pistons 129-102 Friday night on the road, overwhelming a young Pistons team with athleticism and shooting. With the victory, the Celtics moved to 56-14 on the season and extend their win streak to eight games.

Five players in Celtics green scored in double figures in this one, but it was All-Star Jaylen Brown who lead the way for road team. Brown ended the game with 33 points to go with 4 rebounds and 4 steals and just 32 minutes of action. Boston also got big contributions from Payton Pritchard who had 20 points and 9 assists after earning another start. Defense, however, was the main story for Boston, who put the clamps on Detroit in a big way.
