The Boston Celtics couldn’t possibly lose to the Hospital Atlanta Hawks two times in a row, could they? Evidently, we all needed to think again, as the Hawks took advantage of an under-focused Celtics squad that got little love from the league’s officiating crew at the contest.
Boston lost the contest 123-122 in their second straight loss to the Hawks at State Farm Arena, likely making Celtics fans expecting the sort of dominance to close out the 2023-24 NBA season they have seen up to this point. But they got a ball club sleepwalking to the start of the 2024 playoffs — and the final score reflects that.
