The Oklahoma City Thunder escaped with a 101-99 road win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
Although the Nuggets were without Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr., it’s still an impressive win for the Thunder against a first-place team riding a nine-game winning streak.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander headlined the win with 34 points on 13-of-21 shooting, including the game-winning shot that saw him bank in an eight-foot jumper.
The inbound passer, Josh Giddey, also had a nice night with 18 points, nine rebounds and three assists.
