Photos: 2023 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass

It’s time for the PGA Tour’s flagship event.

The 2023 Players Championship gets underway Thursday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It’s the fourth designated event in five weeks, and it’s the biggest Tour event of the season to date. The top three golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking, Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, are paired together for the first two rounds, and 49 of the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings are in the field.

TPC Sawgrass is a par-72 layout measuring 7,256 yards. This is the 49th version of the Players Championship.
