Earlier in the season, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill had one of the most viral moments of the year.
In Miami’s Week 6 victory over the Carolina Panthers, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hit Hill for a 41-yard score, tying the game. After Hill crossed the end zone, he found NFL content creator and photographer Kevin Fitzgibbons. He took Fitzgibbons’ cell phone and recorded a selfie while doing a back flip.

Unfortunately, Fitzgibbons has now come out and said that the NFL has banned him from the sideline for at least the remainder of the season.

According to The Athletic, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy confirmed that the league revoked Fitzgibbons’ credential on game day, but they did offer him “opportunity to continue collecting content on other projects.”
Luckily for the content creator, Hill has Fitzgibbons’ back and is helping him out.
“I told him, ‘Don’t let this get to you. Just hold your head up. You’re still young. Continue to do what you love,’” Hill told reporters on Thursday. “Me and him are going to continue to work together. I told him I was going to cover his salary, whatever the NFL was going to pay him or whatever. I told him I was going to make sure that I do what’s right and take care of you, make sure you’re not out of a job. That’s my guy.”
The NFL should be embracing moments like this not suspending or penalizing those responsible.
