Phillip Schofield tells Holly Willoughby ‘shut your face’ as she mocks his maths skills

Phillip Schofield blasted his co-host Holly Willoughby as they presented This Morning on Tuesday.

The 59-year-old star was telling viewers about one of the show's cash competitions when Holly decided to mock him.

As dad-of-two Phil revealed that fans of the show could win £250,000, he said: "How do you fancy becoming a quarter of a millionaire? That is getting an extra £50,000 salary for the next five years."

Holly sarcastically said: "Good maths," to which Phil replied: "I know, thank you very much indeed."

But Holly wasn't quite finished and asked: "Hmmm what's that over six years I wonder?" and Phil quickly snapped back: "Shut your face!" as mum-of-three Holly giggled.

Holly looked absolutely lovely as she flaunted her pins on Tuesday's show wearing a black floral textured shirtdress by Kate Spade New York.

The blonde star teamed the summer dress with a pair of nude heels as she posed up a storm on her Instagram.

Fans loved the picture and were quick to comment and compliment the TV presenter and her latest look.

Another added: "Stunning and beautiful," while a third person posted: "Beautiful, as always."

Last week Holly shared a heartfelt Instagram post telling her long-time This Morning co-host Phil that she loves working with him.

Holly posted a picture of the pair looking into each other's eyes smiling in front of a unique, colourful background.

The TV presenter wore a floral-print designer dress worth more than £700 in the Instagram post, by designer Susie Cave.

She captioned the photo: "Dear best friend.. I love working with you."

Holly included several heart emojis and mentioned This Morning in the post as well as a hashtag.

After sharing the message with her 7.5 million followers, she received more than 23 thousand likes and many comments.

Holly has long faced rumours she's planning to quit her role on This Morning to chase more prime time jobs, but she reportedly denied the gossip last year.

An insider told Mail Online : "Holly loves This Morning and working with Phil.

"She is the happiest that she’s ever been on the show and has no plans to leave."
