Phillip Schofield appeared to make a thinly-veiled dig at one caller during Friday's episode of This Morning.
During the latest instalment of the ITV show, Phillip and his co-host Holly Willoughby invited viewers to phone in and share their exciting summer plans.
One woman named Pat called in and was keen to share her upcoming celebrations with Holly, Phil and Gyles Brandreth.
"Right next weekend is our golden wedding and actually Friday 15th, 50 years ago it was very hot, just like it's forecast next week," she began.
"Friday we're all going out with my family, my two little grandchildren, we're going out for supper and then on the Saturday we have 40 odd people coming to our garden, which we're obviously working hard to get everything up together, it's looking beautiful.
"And then at the beginning of September we are going on Safari to Kenya," Pat continued, before a photo of her and husband appeared on the screen.
"Oh this picture there, by the way, that was us at the Elton John concert a few years ago. Life is for living, we're both in our seventies and really enjoying life."
Mother-of-three Holly then said: "Can I ask you Pat, what are you gonna wear to the party? Are you going to wear white again?"
Pat swiftly replied: "No, we were down in the south of France three weeks ago so I bought a lovely, little cream number to wear. Hopefully I will fit in it after all the lovely food and drink in France!"
Phillip then interjected and said sarcastically: "She does a bit of travelling does our Pat, doesn't she?" as Holly giggled.
Gyles then said: "Is she going to get something golden?" and Pat quickly responded: "Oh don't you worry we're off shopping next week for something gold!"
Viewers tuning in at home were not overly impressed with Pat's call and took to Twitter to comment.
One person said: "Pat is clearly not suffering in the cost of living crisis #ThisMorning."
Another tweeted: "Bugger off Pat bragging #ThisMorning," while a third added: "Jesus Pat, there’s a cost of living crisis happening FGS #thismorning."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
