Phillip Schofield was nowhere to be seen at the Bank of London Rainbow Honours this evening, despite being in the running to take home a major award.
The This Morning presenter was nominated for the Celebrity LGBTQIA Champion gong alongside stars like Adele Roberts and Rylan, but wasn't present at the Natural History Museum in London earlier tonight to hear Dame Kelly Holmes announced as the winner.
It's not yet known if Phil had ever planned to attend the awards or pulled out at the last minute amid the ongoing speculation about his future on This Morning.
The ITV broadcaster, 61, and his co-host Holly Willoughby's friendship has been put under a spotlight under recent weeks, with the one close TV duo now thought to be 'feuding'.
Phil was left to host This Morning on his own for a short period earlier today, as Holly clocked off early so she could attend a star-studded gathering at Buckingham Palace and meet King Charles once again.
But while the mum-of-three is still attending showbiz events and carrying on as normal, it seems like Phil is preferring to keep a low profile amid all the drama.
The Dancing On Ice presenter was nominated alongside Graham Norton, Adele Roberts, Rylan, Heather Peace, Kit Connor. Michael Gunning, Tom Daley and Yasmin Finney for the Melrose Celebrity LGBTQIA Champion award.
Dame Kelly Holmes, who came out as gay in an interview with the Mirror last year, was the one to be beat off the competition and be announced as the winner of the star-studded category at the National History Museum.
Elsewhere during the awards, singer Sam Smith was one of the big winners at the event hosted by Gok Wan and Naked Attraction presenter Anna Richardson.
The Rainbow Honours celebrates leading LGBT+ activists, allies and celebrity figures who have worked to advance the rights of LGBT+ people during the past 12 months.
"There were so many deserving LGBT+ people and allies who have been rightly recognised this evening. It is fantastic to be part of this wonderful awards ceremony," host Anna gushed when commenting on the winners.
Founder Linda Riley added: "We were delighted to be able to honour the work of the personalities, celebrities, brands and allies who have stood in solidarity with the LGBTQI community during what continues to be an incredibly tough time. They have spent the past 12 months advancing the rights of our community in the UK and across Europe.
"All of the winners and nominees are incredibly deserving."
