Phillip Schofield issued a fresh statement on Monday morning as the former This Morning presenter addressed the 'handful of people with a grudge against me.'
Phil, 61, continues to dominate showbiz headlines as the fallout from his ITV departure shows no sign of slowing amid controversy surrounding his resignation from the broadcaster last Friday.
The veteran presenter was also dropped by his talent agency after it emerged that he had lied about an affair with a young male colleague, with whom he worked on This Morning.

While many of Schofield's now-former colleagues have remained relatively tight-lipped on his departure, some have voiced criticism of the presenter, who fronted This Morning for 21 years prior to stepping away from the programme amid a reported feud with Holly Willoughby.
Phil seemed to address his critics on Monday morning with a post to his Instagram stories in which he referenced 'those persistently loud voices.'
He wrote: "Now I no longer work on @thismorning I am free to say this," Schofield wrote.
"I hope you have noticed that it's the same handful of people with a grudge against me or the show who seem to have the loudest voice.
"This Morning is the best show to work on, with the best people. In all the years I worked there, there was no toxicity.
"You can listen to those persistently loud voices if you like. But the thousands of guests over the years, thousands of staff and crew, hundreds of presenters and contributors all know. It IS a family of wonderful, talented, kind, hard working people."
This Morning returned to our screens on Monday morning with Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond hosting - Holly remains on her half-term break for the next week - and the pair touched on the fact that the show has seldom been away from the headlines in recent weeks.
"We all know we happen to be in the news at the moment and, of course, we appreciate that but from both of us and the whole team here - the crew, the guys downstairs - we love making this show for you," Dermot said.
Alison added: "We really do and that's exactly what we're going to do so let's get on with our first news story."
