Phillip Schofield gives 'quarantine' update as he misses This Morning again

Phillip Schofield has shared an update from "quarantine" as he continues to self-isolate at home.

The presenter, was missing from ITV's This Morning again, after testing positive for coronavirus on Monday (January 31).

He posted a picture of his lateral flow test on his Instagram story and said: "Well b******s."

The TV star added he was just suffering from a slightly sore throat.

On Wednesday, he updated his fans as his "quarantine" continued.

Sharing a snap of some food in a Tupperware box, he said: "One of my 'to do' jobs was to sort the freezer... now I'm eating my way through it! #quarantine"

Alison Hammond stepped in for the TV star for This Morning on Tuesday, while Vernon Kay stepped in on Wednesday.

Rochelle Humes has been filling in for Holly Willoughby, who was given two weeks off the show - so she can present Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival alongside comedian Lee Mack.

Superstar Survival will see a whole host of famous faces take on Europe's harshest conditions in a bid to tackle their demons.

Holly has been flying back to the UK at weekends to host Dancing On Ice - alongside Phillip.

In order to be able to present this week's show, Phillip will need negative lateral flow test results on days five and six.
