Phillip Schofield has revealed the real reason he didn't attend Alison Hammond's joint birthday party with her son Aiden.
A majority of the This Morning team partied away at the lavish celebration for the host's 48th birthday and her son Aiden's 18th.
Various celebs joined in the celebrations for Alison and Aiden including Holly Willoughby, Dermot O'Leary and Vanessa Feltz, writes The Mirror.
And on today's episode of This Morning, Phil explained why he didn't attend after they looked at snaps from the the night.
Speaking to his co-host Holly, Phillip said: "Do you know what I'm loving? As a team here gradually stories bit by bit are leaking out over Alison Hammond's party on Saturday night."
He added: "Loads of the team here went, the photos are unbelievable and gradually bit by bit people are going, 'Oh god I did [do that] didn't I?'"
Phil said the reason he wasn't there was because it happened to also be his daughter Ruby's birthday too.
He said: "It was Ruby's birthday and she had a massive party, 15 members of the family."
Phillip said it was "lovely" to attend his daughter's birthday.
The presenter admitted that he was baffled looking through photos of his colleagues at Alison's bash, saying: "What the hell are they doing?"
During her party, Alison gave her followers a glimpse of the celebrations by going on Instagram Live. She said: "Hi everyone, woo, we're having a lovely party.
"I wish you was all here, that's why I've gone live on Instagram. I've had some birthday cake, I've had some food, I'm drinking water and I've had a lovely time.
"I hope you've enjoyed joining me, I'm gonna go now and enjoy my party. Love you, bye!"
Ronnie Wood's wife Sally, Carol Vorderman and Gok Wan were also in attendance.
