Phillip Schofield brutally mocked at Glastonbury as Holly parties in VIP area

Phillip Schofield has made an 'appearance' at Glastonbury festival this weekend - but not in the way you would think.

Music fans who have taken to Worthy Farm for the event of the year have been spotted mocking the disgraced TV presenter by flying flags that feature him puffing on his Lost Mary vape, from his tell-all interview earlier this month.

Meanwhile, his former co-host Holly Willoughby cut a glam look as she arrived at the festival in a helicopter before partying in the VIP section.

The Mirror reports that the mum-of-three may be trying to put the recent drama surrounding her former co-star behind her.

But although Phillip himself isn't at Glastonbury, she may be reminded of the controversy thanks to the flags being flown at the festival.

One of the banners catching everyone's eyes shows a screenshot of a newspaper report about Holly's former co-star, with Phil shown vaping on his beloved Lost Mary vape.

The caption underneath the snap of downcast Phil reads: "Phillip Schofield says he's vaping so much his hands are blistered."

Philip's vaping habits were revealed when the presenter spoke out this month about the grooming allegations against him, that prompted him to resign from This Morning. He said he was 'in a bad way' after it came to light that he had lied to his family and colleagues about what was going on between him and a younger ITV male employee.

After he left This Morning at the end of May, Phillip cut ties with ITV altogether as he admitted to having an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a man he'd met when he was a teen. During an interview with The Sun, the he showed off a collection of "blisters and calluses" as he admitted: "I’ve been vaping, a lot.

"I didn't realise until suddenly it hurt, but I've been sitting looking up at the sky or out of the window, just staring into space. I just sit on the sofa and stare. I realise by doing that, I've blistered both hands."

In an additional interview with the BBC, Phil added: "I would say to everyone, I would say to my family, my friends, my work colleagues, the public, to ITV, to my management company, to everyone that I'd like to, I am desperately, desperately sorry.

"But principally, I would like to apologize to him because it may have been consensual, it may have been fully legal, but I shouldn't have allowed it to happen, and that was a grave grey error on my part. And I know that because of that, an absolutely innocent person is being persecuted."
