Philippe Clement has been tipped to make a stunning return to the Belgian Pro League just weeks after his dramatic exit from Rangers.
The Belgian boss has been named as a potential frontrunner to be the next head coach of Anderlecht, according to a report in his homeland (RTBF via footnews).
Clement was previously in charge at Monaco and won the Belgian league with two different clubs – Genk in 2018/19 and Club Brugge in 2019/2020 – before taking over in Govan.

He was sacked by Ibrox chiefs last month after 16 months in charge following the 2-0 home defeat to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
And the 51-year-old could soon be chasing down a third league title if he joins the 34-time Belgian champions who sacked David Hubert last week.
Besnik Hasi has been given the interim role until the end of the season after guiding Belgium’s most successful club to league glory in 2014.
Anderlecht currently sit fourth in the table and 17 points behind league leaders Genk.
According to RTBF (via footnews), Hasi could be given the job full-time – if he wins the Belgian Cup final with Club Brugge in May and closes the gap to the teams above them in the league.
Should he fail to do so, it is reported that Clement could be next in line to replace him.
