Despite a challenging season so far for Rangers, marked by inconsistent performances and mounting pressure on manager Philippe Clement, one young player has emerged as a beacon of hope: Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane.
At just 22 years old, Igamane has already made a significant impact on the pitch, netting an impressive 12 goals from 24 appearances.
His remarkable raw talent has not gone unnoticed, as multiple clubs across Europe are beginning to take an interest.
In a recent interview, Igamane expressed his aspirations to compete in one of Europe’s elite leagues, indicating his ambition to elevate his career to new heights.
Clement is acutely aware of the growing attention surrounding Igamane and understands that the time may come when Rangers will need to consider a lucrative offer for their rising star.
The Scottish Premiership giants acquired Igamane from Moroccan outfit AS FAR during the summer transfer window for £1.5million, and given his current form, it’s likely they could secure a substantial profit should they decide to sell.
However, Clement has emphasised that any potential departure would only occur if it aligns with the interests of all parties involved.

He hinted at discussions with the club’s new CEO, Patrick Stewart, who may be keen on safeguarding the player’s future by negotiating a more lucrative contract for Igamane.
This move could not only reward the young striker for his outstanding contributions but also ensure that Rangers retain a key player during a tumultuous period.
"It needs to be a win-win situation for everybody," Clement explained.
"That’s for the club and for the player. A positive point for that is that Hamza is maturing in his head. We have had a good relationship with him from the first day that he came in. He’s made big steps.
"He will take the next steps. There will be a moment that’s the right moment for him to leave. But it needs also to be the right moment for the club and he understands that."
