Philippe Clement looks set to lose out on a new job at Royal Antwerp to his own former assistant manager at Rangers, Andries Ulderink.
The Belgian was axed at Ibrox last month after a disastrous Scottish Cup exit at home to Queen's Park before his side lost to St Mirren too.
He was reportedly on the shortlist for a return to management in his Belgian homeland at Royal Antwerp, who sacked Jonas De Roeck despite securing a top six finish ahead of the play-offs.
However, Antwerp have opted to ignore Clement and will turn to Ulderink instead.

Ulderink was No.2 at Antwerp previously to Mark van Bommel and linked up with Clement at Ibrox in June.
However, he left the club in January and returned to his home in the Netherlands due to a 'family situation.'
Now he's set to return to management at Antwerp and leave Clement without a job.
