Philippe Clement has been sacked by Rangers.
The Belgian manager was dismissed by Ibrox chiefs after the Scottish Premiership loss to St Mirren on Saturday.
Rangers chief executive Patrick Stewart had previously backed Clement after the shock Scottish Cup exit to Queen's Park but has relieved the manager of his duties after the league slip.
In an address last week, Stewart cited Europa League progression as a key factor in Clement being allowed to continue as manager but the Belgian will not lead Rangers into the round of 16.
The Ibrox club sit 13 points adrift of Celtic in the league table, lost the Viaplay Cup final to Celtic and were eliminated from the Scottish Cup earlier this month.
Rangers are into the last 16 of the Europa League, where they will face Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce.
It's understood the Ibrox board met on Sunday and reached the decision to sack Clement with the players informed. An official confirmation is to follow.
