Exit-bound Connor Goldson, Todd Cantwell and star goalkeeper Jack Butland are among the notable omissions from the Rangers squad that will go head-to-head with Birmingham City tonight.
The Scottish Premiership powerhouse are set to face off with their English League One counterparts in the Midlands, where Birmingham City will pay tribute to their legendary player, Trevor Francis.
Francis, who had a short stint with Rangers, famously lifted the Scottish League Cup during the 1987/88 season.
Rangers' starting team this evening will feature summer acquisition Liam Kelly in goal, supported by a defence that includes captain James Tavernier, Leon Balogun, Clinton Nsiala, and Ridvan Yilmaz.
In midfield, Philippe Clement has picked Mohamed Diomande to partner youngsters Cole McKinnon and Alex Lowry.
The line-up is rounded out by the attacking trio of Rabbi Matondo, Ross McCausland, and Danilo.
