Philadelphia Union coach Jim Curtin has already admitted that he would not be able to stand in the way of a move to Leeds United for Kai Wagner. Curtin was speaking in the summer when links between Leeds and Wagner first surfaced.
With Leeds opting against bringing in a left back during the window, they are once again in the market for one in January and Wagner is among the names been linked. The 25-year-old provided nine assists for Philadelphia last season and would represent an option well within Leeds' budget.
Marsch is close friends with Union coach Curtin and the latter has previously discussed how the two have held talks over a potential transfer between the clubs. Speaking to MLSsoccer.com back in August, Curtin was honest in the fact Wagner has aspirations of playing at the top and he would be powerless to prevent him from moving.

"I've had discussions with Jesse. Obviously he's on their radar, there's no question about that. But so are a lot of other good left backs in the world. So, it's a unique window in that it doesn't really close until September for them.
"Selfishly we'd love him to stay here and hopefully we can push and try to win something this year. Kai loves it here in Philly, he loves the fans, he loves playing in Subaru Park. But he also has aspirations to play at the highest level. So, we'll see what happens."
