Phil Spencer stuns fans with pics of rarely-seen teenage son who is his 'double'

Location, Location, Location star Phil Spencer has stunned fans by sharing photos with his rarely-seen lookalike son Ben.

The property expert, 55, was joined by his youngest child in Queenstown, New Zealand, while filming his new show, New Zealand’s Best Homes.

He posted several snaps of them on the set of the upcoming Channel 4 show, leaving his followers shocked at the likeness between the pair.

In one shot, Spencer and Ben posed with a camera man, with the teenager smiling and proudly holding the clapperboard.

The duo also smiled for a selfie on a fishing trip during a break from filming.

“Fantastic to be joined by my son in Queenstown for a few more houses & a few days off...” Spencer wrote in a sweet post shared on Instagram on Thursday.

Fans flooded the comments to enthuse over the likeness between the pair, with one writing: “He is the image of you Phil.”

Another exclaimed, “Your son is your double,” and another agreed: “He’s your doppleganger!”

Spencer shares sons Ben and Jake, 18, with his Australian wife Fiona, who he married in 2001 after they met in the mid 1990s.

The couple moved from their six-bedroom house in London to a £3.3 million country home in Hampshire in 2015.

The TV star has faced tragedy in the past few years as his parents died in a devastating car accident in 2023.

The presenter’s mother Anne, 82, and father David, 89, died when their car veered off the road and into a stream while on their way to lunch.

The Channel 4 star shared the news of their death on Instagram at the time, in which he detailed their last moments and said the family are “desperately sad and shocked beyond all belief”.

He added that “if there can ever be such a thing as having a ‘good end’ – this was it”.

Spencer’s long-time Location, Location, Location co-host Kirstie Allsopp asked fans to join her in “sending so much love” to the presenter int he wake of the tragedy.

Fellow broadcasters Ben Fogle, Craig Doyle, Amanda Lamb, Charlotte Hawkins and TV chef Phil Vickery also shared heir sympathies.
