Phil Neville left "angry" as David Beckham's Inter Miami hit new low in MLS

Phil Neville has been left "angry" with his Inter Miami team, after David Beckham's club slumped to the bottom of Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference on Saturday.

It has been a tough few months for the Miami club, and things got even worse in Montreal this weekend. Neville's team lost 1-0 to CF Montreal, thanks to a second half strike from Nigerian forward Chinonso Offor.

Miami have now lost three MLS matches on the bounce, having won just two from their last 12, leaving them stuck to the bottom of the Eastern Conference table on 15 points from 14 games.

Having officially formed the Miami franchise three years ago, having a team sunk to the bottom of the league table will not have been in the plans of Beckham. And the man feeling the pressure is the Englishman's former Class of 92 teammate Neville.

In a brutal assessment post-match, the head coach said: "They’re really angry. I’m angry. It's a game we should be winning with the chances we created, the moments that we had. We had three or four incredible opportunities, and with a little more composure, we score goals.

"I never thought they caused us many problems. We have four games coming up in the next seven to 12 days so everyone has to be ready." After a difficult start to the campaign, Neville looked to have turned Miami's fortunes around.

Having lost six games on the bounce, Inter then went on to take nine points from nine in their three following games, as well as winning two US Open cup ties in the process. Their hot run of form was short-lived though, leaving Neville with yet another mountain to climb.

The pressure seemingly got the better of the ex-Manchester United and Everton star last week, after being involved in a foul-mouthed press conference rant. His outburst came after discussing his team's recent 3-1 defeat to state rivals Orlando City.

Whilst speaking in his post-match press conference, one journalist appeared to interrupt Neville whilst he was mid-answer. Less than impressed, he responded: ""Can I finish speaking? Or are you going to interrupt? Can I finish speaking? Ok.

"Because I didn't interrupt your question, so don't interrupt mine. Show some f*****g respect. Sorry for the language." Going on to Lose his trail of thought, Neville went on to add: "“So the... Sorry, what was the question? Ask me the question again, please."
