Owen Hargreaves and Joleon Lescott believe Manchester City star Phil Foden will go on to be remembered as one of the greats of the English game.
The talented youngster has become an integral part of Pep Guardiola's attacking force. Within the last 12 months has shown his versatility by dropping into midfield both for the Blues and at international level with Gareth Southgate's side.
In their derby triumph on Sunday, the 21-year-old was pivotal in orchestrating the City attacks. Both Hargreaves and Lescott couldn't hide their admiration of the attacker, with the latter tipping him to become the most decorated English player ever.

He told BT Sport "There’s so many elements to it because we see him playing multiple positions and that showcases how intelligent he is. He has the respect of Pep to say ‘if someone’s missing, you will fill that void because you are capable physically, tactically and technically'.
"I think he has the capability to become the most decorated English player ever. If he stays at Man City for the duration of his career and they continue to dominate the way they have - he’s averaging two trophies a season. It wouldn’t surprise me."
Hargreaves, who won the Champions League with Bayern Munich in 2001, continued to heap praise on Foden, adding: "He’s so unique. He reminds me of [Andres] Iniesta. He’s a great dribbler, his turn of pace, his vision and it just makes him unique. He always does [have bright moments]. He makes football look far too easy. Everything he does, just the sense of awareness, he plays in multiple positions."
