Paul Tierney will not referee in the Premier League this weekend.
The 42-year-old has instead been assigned to the roles of fourth official and Video Assistant Referee as the fallout from his feud with Jurgen Klopp continues.
Tierney was the man in the middle for Liverpool's 4-3 victory over Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday and was once again the subject of criticism from the Liverpool boss after the game, who he booked for taunting fourth official John Brooks after Diogo Jota's last-gasp winner on Merseyside.
As of Monday, the Football Association were investigating comments made by the 55-year-old after the win in which he appeared to question the integrity of the Tierney, saying: "I really don't know what this man has against us".

And following the flashpoint on Merseyside, the 42-year-old will be away from the spotlight this weekend with the Greater Manchester-born official instead assigned to the role of fourth official for Manchester United's visit to West Ham United on Sunday, and VAR duty for Nottingham Forest's showdown with Southampton a little over 24 hours later.
Klopp was left aggrieved by Tierney's failure to award a foul on Mohamed Salah after a coming together with Spurs defender Ben Davies just moments before Richarlison equalised. Telling Sky Sports after the game: "How can they give a foul by Mohamed Salah [before Spurs' third goal]?
"We have our history with [Paul] Tierney, I really don't know what this man has against us, he has said there is no problems but that cannot be true.
"How he looks at me, I don't understand it. But again? He was reffing against Tottenham [in 2021] where Harry Kane should have got a red card. And I love this player, crazy player and I don't want him to get a red card, but he should.
"And it's Mr Tierney. It's really tricky and hard to understand."
He added: "My celebration towards the fourth official, I didn't say any bad words or nothing unnecessary, which is fair. I got my punishment by pulling my hamstring. But what he said to me when he gave me the yellow card is not okay."
