Tiger Woods will join Max Homa and Matt Fitzpatrick on the PGA Tour 2K25 cover, according to the game’s official X account.
PGA Tour 2K25 will feature revamped modes, swing mechanics, and improved graphics, making it one of the most highly-anticipated releases for PC, PS5, and Xbox. This is the first 2K golf game since PGA Tour 2K23 was released in 2022.
2K Studios released a trailer for the game on Tuesday afternoon, giving golf fans and gamers an inside look at the new-and-improved gameplay. It’s expected to be one of the most realistic golf games ever, with new shot types and overhauled MyPlayer and MyCareer modes.
“Some of my most iconic moments, unforgettable hole-outs, and dominant victories took place at the majors,” said Woods. “In PGA TOUR 2K25, players can step onto the tee box and create unforgettable moments as their customizable ‘MyPLAYERs,’ my fellow cover athletes Matt Fitzpatrick and Max Homa, or even me.”
There will reportedly be 11 male and female pros available at launch, including Woods, Homa, Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, and more. The game will also include 29 licensed courses.
When Will PGA Tour 2K25 Be Released?
PGA Tour 2K25 will be released on February 28th but golf fans don’t have to wait that long to get their hands on the game.
For gamers who want to get in on the action, you can play the game seven days early by pre-ordering the Deluxe or Legend editions. This allows golf fans to get their hands on the game as early as February 21st.

Previous PGA Tour 2K25 Cover Athletes
For Woods, this isn’t his first time gracing a video game cover. He was previously the cover athlete for Tiger Woods PGA Tour from 1999 to 2013 and was the cover athlete of PGA Tour 2K23. Justin Thomas was featured in 2021 and was also on the 2K23 cover with Woods.
On the other hand, Homa and Fitzpatrick will be gracing video game covers for the first time.
Homa has six career Tour wins, while Fitzpatrick has two wins on Tour, including the 2022 U.S. Open, to go along with eight international victories.
