A petrol station in Knowsley has been branded one of the most expensive in the region as fuel prices continue to rise.
Earlier this month, fuel prices hit a new record high as the cost of oil soars due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and there were warnings it could increase further.
Figures from data firm Experian Catalist showed the average cost of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts was 151.67p last Tuesday, up from 151.16p on Monday.

This week, many people continue to take to social media to express their concern at the growing fuel prices, including many in Merseyside.
One petrol station was branded the "dearest in Knowsley" after a social media user shared a post.
Priced at 162.9 for unleaded on Monday, the West Vale Petrol Station in Kirkby also had its diesel priced at 173.9.
This was up from the previous day, social media users reported.
One user said that the price rises in the "current climate are understandable", but added concerns forecourts were increasing their prices before their next deliveries.
This is echoed right across Merseyside as forecourts upped their prices within days.
One Knowsley resident said petrol prices are "going up daily" which is "ridiculous", but others said they "need the petrol anyway" so would still need to buy it.
Another described the increasing prices as "awful".
According to PetrolPrices.com at the time of writing, the top five cheapest places for unleaded in Knowsley were:
- Asda Huyton priced at 147.7
- Morrisons Kirkby priced at 148.7
- Knowsley Service Station priced at 149.9
- Texaco Gale Road priced at 149.9
- Shell Liverpool Road priced at 151.9
