Petrol prices: Top 10 cheapest stations in Nottingham on Sunday, April 3

Fuel prices have been rising with no sign of stopping so far this year. Despite the Chancellor's recent announcement that fuel duty would be cut, motorists previously complained they were yet to see the 5p per litre reduction passed down to the forecourts.

The war in Ukraine that continues to increase costs. The AA says since the start of the year motorists have been hit by a 20p-a-litre surge in fuel prices.

And that this change has "rocked the finances of families, and particularly young drivers, pensioners and lower-income workers who need to commute each day".
