A car has been destroyed after being petrol bombed in the early hours of the morning on a residential Scots street.
The red Ford Focus was seen in flames on Mains Street in the Deans area of Livingston on Tuesday, January 25 by members of the public.
The vehicle had been parked in a car park opposite the ScotMid shop where it is believed to have been left for days.
Images show the inferno completely engulf the hatchback car.
Later the vehicle was found burnt out and the alloys removed.
A spokesperson Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 4.59am on Tuesday, January 25 to reports of a car on fire at Main Street, Deans, Livingston.
“Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting one vehicle.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
Police Scotland said they were not in attendance.
