Peter Kay tickets are on sale for an eye-watering £900 as resellers scupper the comic's plans for a fair price.
The Bolton-born star, 49, announced he was going on tour again this week after 12 years - sending fans into a frenzy.
However, they're now fuming as people are flogging the tickets for a staggering amount, after they went on pre-sale today (Nov 10).
After revealing news of his longed-for return, Peter said: “With the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35 – the same price they were on my previous tour in 2010.”
But now the resellers have got hold of them, they're being sold for way more than that.
One fan tweeted: "How are Peter Kay tickets already on resale for £900+? It's a joke. Should have not allowed resale."
Another lamented: "Again 'fans' trying to make profit are at it again as resale tickets are starting to be listed."
While a third said: "It happened with Harry Styles, Coldplay and almost every other major ticket announcement this year as people try to make a profit off desperate fans."
The pre-sale for the show started today at 10am with Three and O2/Virgin Media network accounts offering fans access codes via a mobile app, which can then be added into Ticketmaster or SeeTickets.
However, fans were less than impressed when the website for O2 Priority appeared to crash after just several minutes.
Fans flocked to Twitter in anger, with one posting: "O2 priority website crashed and not working just as Peter Kay tickets are about to go on sale."
A second added: "Peter Kay has crashed every app going as if getting tickets wouldn’t already be hard enough to get."
O2 responded to the criticism by saying: "We're seeing extraordinary demand for Peter Kay. We know customers are struggling to get on to our Priority website and app before 10am, we're working on it. Please be patient, thank you."
Other tickets will become available later in the week as general sale starts this Saturday, November 12 at 10am.
Peter will be brining his unique blend of humour to cities Manchester on Dec 2, followed by a host of other places including London and Birmingham.
He also announced his residency at The O2 when he co-hosted the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this week, which will start on Friday, December 15 and run until Saturday, November 18, 2023.
