Peter Kay announced extra dates for his long-awaited comeback tour earlier this evening, with him set to take to the stage for additional shows next year and in 2025.
It comes after the comedian, 49, announced last monthhe would be embarking on his first live stand-up tour in more than a decade - which commenced recently.
The tour - which is titled Better Late Than Never - opened at the AO Arena in Manchester last weekend, launching what was at the time considered to be a 110-date venture.
A further 11 dates however will go on sale this weekend. Peter revealed he was extending the tour whilst speaking to Sara Cox, 47, on her BBC Radio 2 show a few hours ago.

The new dates include additional performances in Manchester, Newcastle, Belfast, Glasgow and other cities. The extra performances will be held in 2023 and 2025.
It includes an extra show at the O2 Arena in London. It will be part of the monthly residency at the venue in the capital city that was previously announced by the comedian.
There is set to be British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performances on select dates of the tour. Fans have been encouraged to check venue websites for details.

- August 9 (Saturday) - SSE Arena, Belfast
- October 6 (Monday) - Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
- November 22 (Saturday) - M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool
Tickets for more than 100 dates have already been released up to 2025. This includes shows in 2024, which will be held in Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds and London.
