Peter Kay looked a world away from his former self in a selfie taken after his O2 show.
The comedian, 49, is performing at the London venue after taking a 12-year-break from the spotlight due to "unforeseen family circumstances."
Fans were delighted when he announced he was going on tour again and one excited ticket holder couldn't wait to share a snap of the star backstage at the weekend.
Singer Bryan Edery uploaded a video of the pair at the sold-out venue in which Peter was virtually unrecognisable from his days on BBC's Car Share.
Sporting a black tracksuit - and his trademark grin - he uttered the immortal: "Two lamb bhunas" before both men started laughing.
Bryan captured the clip: "I was fortunate enough to be invited by my good friends to see Peter Kay’s amazing show at the O2. And then very lucky to meet the man himself backstage. Go and see Peter’s show, it’s incredible. Secondly, thank you friends, you know who you are #peterkaytour."
The clip sent Peter's fans into a frenzy with many telling the comedian how good he looked.
One said: "Wow that’s some mega weight loss Peter lad," while another commented: "Wow, looks like a different bloke," followed by two applause emojis.
Peter addressed his weight loss when his tour kicked off last year, as he sported a black suit and swapped his signature purple shirt for a blue one on stage.
Twirling around his new outfit, he joked: "See how much weight Peter Kay has lost."
Peter also wowed fans when he reunited with Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle – 12 years after the pair first worked together.
The singer, 62, and Bolton-born comedian posed for a photo together in May as she visited the Phoenix Nights star during his live comedy tour, Peter Kay Live! in Glasgow.
Susan's official Instagram page posted the photo alongside the pair's single cover image for their Comic Relief track, I Know Him So Well.
The caption read: "A reunion 12 years in the making! Susan Boyle & Peter Kay back together again after she went to see his hilariously brilliant show "Peter Kay Live" in Glasgow.
"How has it been 12 years since their Comic Relief video came out?!".
Fans were quick to comment over the impromptu reunion, as one cheered: "GO SUSAN!"
While another shared: "I was at Peter Kay last night as well Susan, and Peter is a comedy genius! What an excellent show laughed the whole way through his act. Was amazing when the whole arena started shouting your name!"
