Peter Kay elated fans and then disappointed them within a matter of minutes as he added new dates to his UK tour.
The Bolton comedian is touring the country for the first time in 12 years with fans desperate to see him take to the stage again. The much-loved comedian originally announced that he will perform at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on Friday, January 6 and Saturday, January 7 2023.
But as the tickets for the venue sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale, the performer announced on Thursday that he would be adding more dates to his tour. This includes an extra date for Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena.

But while tickets go on sale on Sunday, December 11, 2022, the show won't actually be happening for another three years. The date added is November 22, 2025.
Fans were delighted when they realised there would be another chance to see the garlic bread comic's best jokes, but that elation soon turned to disappointment when they realised how long they would have to wait. They took to Twitter to complain.
Beth said: "1 extra date for Liverpool and it’s just under 3 years away. I’ll just buy the DVD then." Erin said: "You're taking the p***, you’ve added 1 new date for Liverpool and it’s 2 years away."
Waine said: "I’d love to go but I’ll wait for the VD." Butler said: "Liverpool in 2025?" Lee added: "Taking money for tickets in 3 years time though? WTF!"
