Former Premier League and England star Peter Crouch has admitted he's 'cleaning his boots' after long-time manager Harry Redknapp was linked with a sensational return to management with Leeds United.
The striker played under Redknapp at Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham and netted over 100 goals in England's top-flight and has quipped he'll be Leeds' newest signing.
The star took to Twitter to joke that if Redknapp was to arrive at Leeds, he'd be happy to join the club although Redknapp himself ruled out the move earlier live on talkSPORT.

He wrote: "I’ve been training for this. Just cleaning the Copas now #backstronger."
Redknapp's rejection of the role is another to add to the already-long list of managers that have ruled themselves out of going for the role, after what has been a poor attempt at finding a replacement for Jesse Marsch.
Names like Arne Slot, Andoni Iraola and Carlos Corberan have all been linked with the role but are remaining with their current clubs, meaning interim boss Michael Skubala will be staying the role for the foreseeable future.
