Peter Andre has shared his views on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ’s explosive marriage meltdown which is playing out in headlines 13 years after his own high profile divorce from Katie Price.
The 48-year-old Aussie singer was married to 43-year-old Katie from 2005 until 2009 and was frequently in the headlines due to all the ups and downs of their marriage – which continues to follow him more than a decade later.
Reality star Kim, 41, married 44-year-old rap sensation Kanye in 2014 but the duo split last year – with the rapper making a string of outrageous allegations about his estranged wife while also sharing his hopes of a reconciliation.
Peter has shared his opinion about the couple’s very public meltdown – seemingly taking a swipe at Kanye, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2017, in the process.
Writing in his column for new! magazine, Peter wrote: “A lot of people have been talking about the drama between Kim Kardashian and her estranged husband Kanye West.
“It feels impossible to keep up with who is saying what at the moment and, understandably, many are saying that Kanye is a bit all over the place.”
He added: “One thing I did notice, though, is that he was definitely the most Covid-safe person at the Super Bowl with that full face mask.”
Kanye was among the crowds watching the Los Angeles Rams triumph over the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this month – while music legends, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Dr Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent offered half time entertainment.
Cameras captured Kanye watching the event in the SoFi Stadium in the Inglewood neighbourhood of Los Angeles – prompting boos and jeers from the audience.
The response appeared to be a backlash from fans after Kanye had spent weeks lashing out at Kim and her 28-year-old new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Kanye had seemingly threatened Pete via the lyrics of a new song titled Eazy which he released last month.
And he made astonishing claims about his estranged wife in a string of social media posts – including accusing her of accusing him of being on drugs and of hiring an assassin to kill her.
The Jesus Walks rapper has also leaked private text exchanges between himself and Kim online – much to the shock and dismay of their fans.
In one exchange, texts allegedly from Kim showed the reality star begging: “Why can’t you keep any of our conversations private ???”
But Kanye, seemingly mockingly, replied: “Cause I got a text from my favourite person in the world. I’m your number one fan. Why wouldn’t I tell everyone!!!!”
The musician has since apologised for “harassing” his estranged wife, writing online: “I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener.”
While the star has publicly expressed his hopes of a reconciliation, writing online: “GOD PLEASE BRING OUR FAMILY BACK TOGETHER.”
