Peter Andre tried to cast Emily Atack as his girlfriend but got her name wrong in blunder

Peter Andre was super keen to see Emily Atack cast as his girlfriend in a movie, Keith Lemon claims.

The Celebrity Juice host says his pal Peter named Emily as the actress he wanted to play his girlfriend in a film he's starring in, but that he pronounced her name wrong in an epic blunder.

Keith shared the tale as former Inbetweeners star Emily, 32, explained how to say her surname during an appearance on Chris Moyles' Radio X show.

She said it's pronounced "A-tack" rather than like "attack" and joked that she "breathes a sigh of relief" whenever someone gets it right.

Jumping in to share his story, Keith - played by comic Leigh Francis - said: "Can I just say something?

"Do you know Peter Andre is doing a film and he wanted you to play his girlfriend. I said, 'I bet you do.'

"He said, 'But you know Emily 'Attack' more than I do.'

"'That's not her name for a start so if you're going to phone her up, that's not...' but he's a lovely fella isn't he?"

Mysterious Girl singer Peter has been carving out quite the movie career lately.

He recently teased a new project, but left fans worried in the process as he shared a snap of himself with a bloody nose and bruised face.

Another asked: "What the hell has happened here?"

A third worried fan queried: "Is it broken?"

"that looks painful," another told him.

However, the 48-year-old's caption let everyone in on the secret, as he penned: "Ouch!! #secretproject #comingsoon @therealfredinwaka"

And many people caught on, realising Peter hadn't actually been hurt.

"People look at his post it says "secret project"," one suggested.

While another laughed: "I actually got worried for second then"

He also shared a snap of himself posing with his arm around Peter's shoulders, with the singer free of injuries.
