Peter Andre spooked by ghostly encounter

Peter Andre has shared a ghost story

Peter Andre was left spooked by a ghostly encounter at a family property in Australia.

The 51-year-old pop star has revealed he had a brush with the paranormal during a stay at a resort he co-owned with his dad Down Under revealing he heard a violin playing in an empty recording studio and he discovered several of the instruments in the basement room had moved about even though there was nobody there.

In his column for OK! magazine, Peter explained: "I don’t know whether I believe it[in ghosts] or not. I’ve had some weird experiences, but I can’t quite explain what they were.

"For example, I had a strange experience at the beach resort my dad and I used to own in Australia. It had a basement that I was turning into a recording studio with my brother Chris."

Peter went on to reveal he had a scary moment with Chris. He added: "One day, he [Chris] was playing his guitar down there and then he came upstairs to talk to me. No one was at the resort that day but us and it was locked.

"All of a sudden, we heard the violin playing. We went down and saw the violin plugged in, the guitar placed somewhere else and no one was there.

"So that’s one of my paranormal stories – we were really freaked out. To be fair, it could have just been musical chairs."

Peter previously went ghost-hunting in a segment for ITV show 'This Morning' with the singer spending the night in a castle said to be haunted by ghost including the spectre of a young girl, who died there in 1871.

During filming at Muncaster Castle in the UK's Lake District back in 2017, Peter was seen threatening to walk out in fear as paranormal investigators used special equipment to record spooky noises and detect dramatic temperature changes.
