Peter Andre shares sweet video of kids paying their respects to the Queen at Palace

Peter Andre has shared an emotional tribute to Queen Elizabeth II as he took his children to Buckingham Palace to pay their respects, following the monarch's death on Thursday.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 49, left flowers and cards at the palace on Tuesday (September 13), with his children writing their own special messages for the Queen.

Peter posted a series of pictures on Instagram which showed the plethora of floral tributes left by members of the public.

In one of the snaps, his daughter Amelia wrote a note which read: "Thank you for being such a lovely queen. I was so sad to hear the news.

"Me and my family will miss you."

Peter's son Theo left the Queen a letter in which he told her he loved her. Junior and Princess also joined to pay their respects.

The popstar's fans rushed to the comments section to share their own tributes to Her Majesty.

One person wrote: "So very sad, but such beautiful flowers for the The Queen. Amazing. Thank you for sharing this Peter xx."

"Beautiful Peter, thank you for sharing, I’m so sad, she’s just leaving Scotland now, for the last time," penned another.

A third fan said: "Aww thanks Peter for posting this, it's so sad, our beautiful Queen," while another added: "She lives on in our hearts forever."

TV presenter Carol Vorderman has also expressed her sorrow at the passing of the Queen and posted a heartfelt tribute to the monarch.

She said she shed "tears of grief" after hearing of Her Majesty's passing as she reflected on the death of her own mother.

Carol, 61, took to Instagram to share a short clip of the Queen's coffin, which had been draped with the yellow Royal Standard of Scotland.

Alongside the video, Carol wrote: "As the Queen's coffin begins its long journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh, and then onto London, there will be many of us who will shed tears for those we lost, particularly for our mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers and Uncles and Aunts who were born and lived through similar decades to Her Majesty.

"They saw the biggest changes the world has ever known, bigger than our generations will ever see.

"I'm remembering my Mum right now as I'm sure you're remembering those you loved too.

"May the journey be calm, and may we remember them all as we know they would want to be remembered. Tears of grief, and also for the joy of having loved them fully."
