Peter Andre says Junior, 19 and Princess, 15, would be 'great' on I'm A Celebrity

Peter Andre would love his kids Junior and Princess to go on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! as the show returns this year.

The Aussie singer, who met his ex-wife Katie Price on the show, has high hopes for their children to follow in their footsteps.

Pete, who found love with Katie in the jungle 2004, proudly stated that his kids are the "only offspring from the show" so it would be good to "go full circle".

Writing in his OK! Magazine column, Peter said: "Junior and Princess have said they’re both up for doing I’m A Celebrity."

"Junior said, 'I think we have to do that! To represent! We came from the jungle, didn’t we?’

"It’s true, they are the only offspring from that show and the only jungle babies so it might go full circle and they might go on there one day, which would be great," he added.

Princess, 15 and Junior, 17, joined their dad at the Pride of Britain Awards last week.

Pete spoke about how scary it was when their house was struck by lightning.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Pete said: "Princess' scream was so loud! I've never known lightning to hit where I've been before,"

"The whole house went white, the whole house shook, she screamed loud and I didn't know what happened!

"I ran out to try and find her and then we ran out to try and see these bricks had fallen off," he explained.

Peter, who moved to the UK from Australia in the nineties, said that his approach to storms used to be very different back in the day.

"Normally in Australia I'd go swimming - in thunderstorms we'd go swimming in the sea and they used to say don't do that, don't be stupid. And now I'm thinking, after yesterday, I'm going to stay indoors!"

After the wild weather event, he shared a video of his house and the damage on Instagram.

"Our house just got struck by lightning. The loudest thing I’ve ever heard. Alarms going off. This is mad. Thank god princess is ok. Although don’t know what was louder, her scream or the roof," he wrote.

He also took a thinly-veiled dig at his ex-wife who shared a photo of their kids but cut Pete out of it.

Pete shared the photo but cropped the kids out of it and put it on his stories with Celine Dion's All By Myself to it.
