Peter Andre has revealed the after effects of his jungle experience, saying his I'm A Celebrity stint left him feeling weak.
The singer, now 49, took on the reality TV show in 2004, penning tune Insania and meeting his now ex-wife Katie Price on his journey.
However, he's admitted one particular challenge on the popular ITV show left him feeling weak and sickly.
After praising the way Jill Scott has performed on this year's edition, the Mysterious Girl singer shared how he had to take antihistamines after taking part in a trial which saw him looked in a coffin full of cockroaches and spiders.
Speaking to Yahoo!, Pete said: " I had been bitten all over and I was weak and sickly. You go into autopilot doing trials because you’re focused on the stars and the trauma of what’s happened doesn’t hit you until after."
He has also previously dubbed the experience the "most incredible" and admitted certain challenges from this year's series would have left him pulling out.
The two trials in particular which he thought he'd fail at were the opening Walk The Plank and the jumping out of a plane challenge which met Olivia Attwood and Chris Moyles on their opening day.
After watching the show and hearing their parents' memories, Pete and Katie's kids, Junior and Princess, have seemingly thrown their names into the hat for future editions of the show.
Speaking to the Metro, Junior said: "I think we have to do that! To represent!," before he joked: " We came from the jungle, didn’t we?"
Away from the show, Pete has revealed his sadness that presenter Jonnie Irwin has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The A Place In The Sun presenter announced the devastating news last week, saying he had initially been told in 2020 that he had six months to live.
Doctors diagnosed Jonnie with lung cancer in August 2020 and tests later showed it had spread to his brain, which accounted for the eye sight symptoms which saw him struggle while filming an episode of the Channel 4 show in Italy.
Pete praised the father-of-three for his positive outlook in his OK! column, writing: "It is terribly sad news. It’s heart breaking when you hear it happening to anyone, let alone someone so young. It absolutely breaks your heart."
