Peter Andre says he still feels 'funny' about Princess, 14, wearing make-up on Instagram

Peter Andre admits he still feels 'funny' about his 14-year-old daughter Princess wearing make-up on Instagram.

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, who shares Princess and son Junior, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price, has been vocal about wanting his daughter to avoid cosmetics.

In his column for new! magazine, Peter discussed the outcry over Amanda Holden ’s daughter Hollie, 10, who was wearing make-up in a recent pictur e posted on the Britain’s Got Talent judge’s Instagram.

Amanda, 50, was criticised by some of her fans, and while Peter said he disliked Princess wearing cosmetics, he respected the star’s decision.

“When it comes to things like that, every parent will be different,” he wrote.

“Although Princess enjoys make-up, I’m still funny about her posting pictures wearing it as I think she’s a natural beauty,” Peter continued.

“But as I’ve always said, it doesn’t mean I’m right.”

Concluding his column, Peter then heaped praise on Amanda, and said the telly star looked “better than ever at 50”.

Peter and ex Katie have been at loggerheads over Princess and her desire to wear make-up, and the singer has made a point of posting pictures of his barefaced teenage daughter on social media to highlight her natural beauty.

Princess has previously shared make-up tutorials on social media (Instagram)

“Can I be more proud. I don’t know what she did to this picture, but one thing's for sure, she is NOT wearing makeup. And damn you made me look good. Anyways, love you so much @officialprincess_andre,” he captioned a picture of the pair of them on holiday in October.

However, mum Katie is keen on letting Princess experiment with different looks, and said the teen “absolutely loves” wearing make-up and borrowing her clothes.

“If she wants to put make-up on then let her. She absolutely loves it,” she said last year.

But Katie admitted she knows Peter “dreads” their daughter getting dressed up, and Princess “worries” about what her dad will say.

“She has got a mum like me of course she is going to put heels on and make up on and stuff like that,” Katie said.

“Every dad out there dreads the moment their daughters get to be teenagers,” she added, noting that she keeps her make-up in Princess’s room “because she uses it anyway”.
