Peter Andre's devoted wife Emily has brushed off their 16-year age gap, saying she has no concerns about the difference between them.
The NHS doctor is 32, while famous husband Peter is 49, and they share kids Amelia, eight, and Theo, five.
And their age gap doesn't seem to be any issue for them at all, with them marrying in 2015, five years after they met through her dad - the doctor who treated him for kidney stones.
Making it clear that she doesn't even notice their age difference, Emily wrote in her OK! column: "He will be 50 next year and it feels like he’s had this big build-up to it, as he’s been talking about turning 50 for the past five years!
"To me, it means nothing how old someone is. Age is only a number and Pete doesn’t look 50. He’s also very young at heart."
Emily joked that Peter is lucky he still looks so young considering how much he sunbathes, admitting she teases him that he'd look like a teenager still if he hadn't lay out in the sun so much with oil on instead of sun cream.
She added: "Jokes aside, neither of us are worried about him turning 50, and are trying to plan something really memorable to do as a family."
Peter, who also shares kids Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, with ex-wife Katie Price, met Emily under quite unusual circumstances.
It was back in 2010 when he needed emergency surgery in Cornwall to treat some very painful kidney stones.
And it was through his doctor - and her dad -Dr Ruaraidh MacDonagh, that the then-36-year-old met medical student Emily, then 20.
Peter once told Cornwall Live: "It’s the most bizarre thing. I had to have an emergency operation on a kidney in Taunton. I wasn’t even in the area but I was transferred there and the on-call consultant was Emily’s dad.
"I was so grateful that I said, 'if there’s anything I can ever do…' I later got him a couple of tickets for the Plymouth show, but he couldn’t make it so his wife Rebecca came along with their daughter, Emily.
"We had a bit of a laugh and I thought, 'oh they’re really nice people'. As time went on, Emily and I realised we had feelings for each other and two years after meeting at Plymouth Pavilions we were married."
