Peter Andre 'blindsided' hoist Dermot O'Leary and ITV viewers at home Thursday,when he appeared as a chef on This Morning, 20 years on from his music career having a huge boost thanks to his appearance on I'm A Celebrity.
Peter first shot to fame in the mid 90s when the original release of his now iconic single Mysterious Girl, gave him a huge top 5 hit in the UK, before follow up Flava topped the charts. An other number one, I Feel You, followed that, before Peter's chart success dried up as the decade came to an end.
However, almost 10 years on from its original release, Mysterious Girl became a surprise chart topper in early 2004, as Peter appeared on I'm A Celebrity, alongside stars like Katie Price, who he we went onto marry and have children Junior and Princess with. Peter also went onto score a top 5 hit with Insania, the song he kept singing in the jungle, before him and Katie released a duets album.

Peter has been a regular on TV for the last 20 years but, no-one expected him to show up behind the kitchen counter on This Morning, where he joined presenters Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary on Thursday. As he prepared healthy chicken burgers, Peter talked about his own struggles with weight and diet over the years, having piled the pounds on before his wedding to ex Katie and developed unhealthy habits.
Peter's new tole was teased by Holly and Dermot, who admitted he was shocked at the news Peter would be coming on as chef, right at the start of This Morning and the news quickly got a big reaction online. Taking to Twitter, one viewer commented: "Peter Andre doing the cooking segment.. are they struggling to find chefs?" Another questioned: "Peter Andre a chef?" before, trying out a pun on his mot well known song, a third tweeted: "Peter Andre is a chef now mysterious burger"
Questioned on his surprising career change by Dermot, Peter quipped that he was "a jack of all trades," as Dermot replied: "Good for you."
