Peter Andre is currently filming his third movie alongside model Caprice Bourret and has received positive reviews.
The star, 50, was snapped holding hands with Caprice, 51, earlier this month in Ibiza, sending social media into meltdown before the true reasoning emerged.
Peter is set to co-star alongside the supermodel in a new movie which is being filmed on the White Island, although details of the production have been kept a secret.
Having starred in two movies already, this will be Pete's first since 2019 while this will be Caprice's first TV movie - serving as not only the lead actress but as the executive producer.
Speaking about the singer being cast in the production, a source told us: "Caprice found the perfect part for Pete in her movie and she has been raving about how great he was.
"There was no doubt the role was meant for Pete."
The insider went on to add: "They had lots of fun on set. The pair are really old pals, and she admires his work ethic too."
But while many know Caprice for modelling or various TV shows, the mum-of-two has defied critics and thrown herself into a brand new career.
An insider told us: "Caprice has just finished shooting her first TV film in which she was executive producer and also starring in.
"The production team she partnered up with are veterans in making high-end movies in the romantic comedy space.
"Caprice is very savvy and business-minded, and she believes in taking calculated risks. She has defied her critics and is excited about this next chapter in her career."
Reflecting on the movie, a source continued: "They've just wrapped filming in Ibiza which is Caprice's second home.
"She loves the Island and wants to promote the traditional old-school Ibiza which she fell in love with over 20 years ago.
"Additionally, Americans in particular are fascinated by Ibiza but very few movies have been shot on the Island. She had the money to invest, the jaw-dropping locations, a great script, a winning production team and a great cast. This is only the beginning for her."
Discussing the pictures of him and Caprice holding hands, Petter told Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast, the Mysterious Girl singer said: "You guys do know what that's about, right? Let's have a guess.
"Caprice is an old friend," he said before adding: "That is actually a scene from a film, for Hallmark in America. The whole scene is quite good. I'm playing a nice little Spanish man called Carlos.
"You're going to see me as Carlos, am I doing the accent well? She's an old friend, I saw the picture this morning."
"Obviously Emily knew about this film from ages ago," he later clarified.
