Pete Doherty is engaged to girlfriend Katia de Vidas.
The Libertines singer's representative confirmed that he got down on one knee to propose to his film editor girlfriend, with sweet snaps uploaded online showing her sporting a ring.
It is a double celebration for Pete, 42, who lives a much quieter lifestyle in France with Katia now and recently revealed he has marked two and a half years sober.
In one snap, posted on indie band Trampolene's Instagram account, the couple looked loved up as they posed with lead singer Jack Jones. He collaborated with Pete and Katia on a track last year and have remained firm friends.
The photos show Pete and Katia sitting either side of their pal, fussing over his dog.
"Luna & the Puta Madres xXx," the caption reads.
Pete and Katia have been dating for several years and they perform together under the name Peter Doherty and the Puta Madres.
He is responsible for lead vocals, rhythm guitar, sitar and lyrics whilst Katia is the band's keyboardist and has been so since the group was founded in 2016.
A representative for Pete confirmed to the Mail Online that the couple have been engaged "for a while" now.
The singer recently told BBC Scotland how he is now two and a half years clean of heroin.
He said: 'I'm in recovery I suppose I'm two and a half years clean of heroin which is a big deal for me and yeah I'm ticking along writing music, still writing music."
Pete has a string of famous exes including Kate Moss, who he dated on and off after the pair met at a party in 2005.
Their relationship was well documented and although at first he said he "found love" with the model, their rollercoaster romance eventually ended in him branding Kate as a "nasty old rag" following their final split in 2007.
He has also dated late singer Amy Winehouse, describing them as "lovers" in a 2012 interview.
"Amy and I were lovers. I loved her then and, well, I still do today," he told the Mail on Sunday.
"But towards the end, as only lovers can, she became quite mean and cruel to me. She didn't suffer fools ... and believe me, she had a mean right hook."
Pete has a son Astile with ex Lisa Moorish as well as a daughter Aisling with model Lindi Hingston.
He now enjoys a much quieter life since relocating to Normandy, France with Katia and has become a friend of the owner of the local bakery, who said he's always popping by for bags of Bout de Choux pastries.
