Pete Davidson will reportedly have to sign a "contract" if he wants to propose to Kim Kardashian, as matriarch Kris Jenner would want him to "commit to the brand for the foreseeable future".
The comedian, 28, who has been dating the reality TV star, 41, for several months, is said to be wanting to pop the question, with Kris, 66, "fully onboard" as she thinks he will make a great son-in-law and an asset to the Kardashian's multi-million dollar franchise.
Pete's reported to be "super enthusiastic" about the family's brand but insiders say a contract would be drawn up if he wanted to taken the next step with Kim.
A source told Heat Magazine : "Pete wants to propose, but he'll have to sign a contract. The way Kris sees it, Kim needs a partner who can work with the family and fit with their long-term goals.
"She wants Pete to agree to commit to the brand for the foreseeable future and give her total control over any decisions around marriage and children.
"She knows Pete will make a great son-in-law while being an asset to the Kardashian franchise, so she's already making arrangements for a proposal by early summer- possibly sooner. Kim's totally on board".
Kim is said to see "no reason to wait" and wants to have a family with Pete once they've taken the next step in their whirlwind relationship.

While the relationship set to be mentioned in episodes of the family's brand new show The Kardashians.
It's understood while he won't make an appearance on their new show show - which airs on Disney+ in the UK - during its first season, he is expected to feature in the future.
The Kardashians premiered on Hulu in the US last week, with the show released internationally on Disney+. The second episode will be available on Thursday (April 21).
Three-times married Kim filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after they tied the knot in 2014.
The pair have four children: North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two.
The split has not been amicable and West has made a string of online attacks on Davidson, leading to his Instagram being temporarily locked.
Kim finally confirmed her relationship with Pete in March in a post on Instagram, shortly after she was declared legally single.
Discussing her romance with the TV star with Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, she said: "I mean, I am a relationship kind of girl, for sure. I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them.
"Obviously I want to take my time, but I’m very happy and very content and it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace."
