Pete Davidson will once again show off his impeccable acting skills in a gushy rom-com alongside Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco.
The former Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, is gearing up for the romantic flick's release, just weeks after his heartbreaking split with Kim Kardashian after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star called it quits after nine months.
Fresh from his recent heartbreak, Pete will show fans why he's the perfect boyfriend material in new film, Meet Cute, which will premiere on September 21.
The romantic chick flick follows the story of Sheila and Gary, who meet and 'fall in love at first sight'.
However, it turns out that their seemingly magical meeting wasn’t actually fate at all as it’s uncovered that Sheila actually uses a time machine to fall in love with Gary again and again.
Pete's new film comes as he's currently dealing with the aftermath of his recent breakup with Kim Kardashian.
Although the SNL comedian was widely known for his comedic talents and acting skills before his shock romance with the Kardashian, Pete has catapulted into the eye of the storm once news of their relationship broke.
And according to the 28-year-old's pals, Pete wasn't built for that level of fame and constant attention.
Kim and Pete went their separate ways with a number of reasons playing a part. Earlier this month a source claimed the reality TV star was 'totally exhausted' by the relationship as well as other aspects of her life.
Speaking to Page Six, the insider claimed: "Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 - they are just in very different places at the moment."
Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids."
Kim shares four kids with her ex Kanye West, who has been very vocal in his dislike for Pete both during and after Kim and Pete's relationship.
It's thought that Pete entered into " trauma therapy" following months of online harassment from Kanye, 45.
The comedian reportedly decided to seek help after the rapper made numerous explosive social media posts about him. The rapper even created a disturbing music video in which he appeared to bury Pete alive.
