Pete Davidson appears to have removed his "my girl is a lawyer" tattoo, which the Saturday Night Live star got as a tribute to his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
The former couple announced their split just two months ago after they enjoyed a nine-month-long whirlwind romance.
41-year-old Kim previously flaunted the carefully inked tattoo which 28-year-old Pete had done back in March as a nod to Kim's pursuit of a law career. Pete had gotten the tattoo in addition to having Kim's name branded on his chest.
The comedian has now been spotted on the set of his new project, upcoming comedy series Bupkis, with the top of a bandage displayed near Pete's neck, indicating he may be in the process of having the ink removed.
The bandage was placed in the same spot as his five-word tribute to Kim.
Pete has yet to comment on whether or not he has removed or covered the inking, but fans have shared their thoughts on social media.
One person tweeted: "Pete Davidson appears to be erasing his memories of Kim Kardashian."
Another said: "Pete getting rid of his Kim tattoo is so funny and idk why," while a third added: "Pete Davidson looking happy after removing a certain tattoo."
"He should've changed it to My ex girl needs a lawyer following her million dollar fine for crypto advertising," suggested another fan.
A source close to Pete told The Mirror: "While he continues to remove his tattoos, that image is from set and not related to removing the lawyer tattoo."
Kim admitted her favourite tattoo of Pete's was the dedication to her and revealed he had "a few cute ones" during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show earlier this year.
Kim also revealed Pete had her name branded into his skin "like a scar", leaving Ellen horrified.
Pete has a history of getting tattoos while in love and previously got tributes for his ex-fiancée Ariana Grande and former girlfriend Cazzie David.
Kim and Pete ended their relationship "amicably" after a clash in priorities.
The Kardashians star recently revealed she is "just not ready" to date again following the split.
"I'm not looking for anything. I think I really just need to be by myself and focus and finish school," she said during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
She also remarked how she had juggled with the idea of stepping away from men in showbiz, saying she maybe should try someone like a doctor or a scientist before confessing: "I'm just not ready... I just want chill."
