Pete Davidson headed to space on Blue Origin

Pete Davidson is moving up in the world, from Staten Island to space.

The “Saturday Night Live” star will head to outer space on Blue Origin’s 20th mission next week, Jeff Bezos’ company announced Monday.

Davidson, 28, will join Party America CEO Marty Allen, Sharon Hagle, founder of the nonprofit SpaceKids Global, and her husband, real estate mogul Marc Hagle, University of North Carolina professor Jim Kitchen and Dr. George Nield, the president of Commercial Space Technologies and former manager of the Flight Integration Office for NASA’s space shuttle program.

All six future explorers will carry a postcard to space on behalf of Blue Origin’s foundation, Club for the Future, which returns the cards to students with a “Flown to Space” stamp.

NS-20, Blue Origin’s fourth manned mission, is scheduled to lift off on March 23 from West Texas.

Davidson joins a short list of celebrities who have taken the 11-minute flight, following William Shatner and Michael Strahan.

The high-flying distraction comes at a good time for Davidson, who is currently in an online battle with Kanye West over Kim Kardashian. The feud had mostly been one-sided, with the rapper criticizing his ex-wife for how she’s raising their children and making multiple music videos depicting graphic violence against the comedian.

But in texts between the pair released Sunday, Davidson said he was “done being quiet.”

“Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met,” he wrote. “What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f-----g lucky that she’s your kids mom. I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet.”

When West asked Davidson where he was, he responded with a shirtless selfie.

“In bed with your wife,” he wrote.
